Austalia have walked away triumphant from their international Twenty20 match against New Zealand at the SCG.
Adam Voges was the star of the night with a dramatic catch that sealed the match for the Aussies.
Acting captain Brad Haddin commented that the catch by Voges had shifted the momentum of the match in their favour:
“An outstanding catch and the funny thing is I don’t think it was the first time that he had done that this year,” Haddin said.
“It just shows, he captains his state side when Marcus North is away and he has a very good cricketing brain.
“To think on your feet that quickly was an outstanding effort and, as it turned out, it was a massive play like that that we needed to win the match.”
